Sheet Membranes, Integrated, Liquid and Dry Side Systems

Most structures are predisposed to holding water in some capacity leading to problems if the surfaces are not completely watertight. Built structures need some sort of waterproofing as concrete is naturally porous. Installation of a continuous sheet waterproofing membranes, polyurea, acrylic, polyurethane coatings and fully integrated insitu membranes on slabs, foundations and other surfaces potentially exposed to inundation can eliminate ingress of water and protect the structure and foundations. Many of these systems come with a manufactures warranty of up to 20yrs when applied by our highly trained and certified staff.

Fosroc Proofex Engage
Pre-applied waterproofing membrane which mechanically bonds to poured concrete.

Proofex Engage is a unique patented membranous waterproofing membrane system comprising a cell mesh bonded to a blended polyethylene/polypropylene membrane which allows poured concrete to interlock, forming a tenacious mechanical bond.

Proofex 3100 HDPE

Proofex 3100 is a self-adhesive bituminous membrane incorporating a cross laminated HDPE film. The bitumen compounds used to manufacture the product are modified with SBS to promote maximum adhesion to the substrate.

Emer-clad

Parchem Emer-clad is acrylic, flexible waterproofing membrane, used in UV exposed external areas as well as inside areas.

Hydron Membryl

Hydron Membryl is used for its waterborne elastomeric waterproofing membrane having outstanding long-term UV stability.

Hydron Elastoseal

Hydron Elastoseal is used by waterproofing contractors in areas subjected to permanent immersion and internal pedestrian traffic. With its high-performance synthetic rubber-based membrane, designed to offer waterproofing it is used under screeds or toppings is capable of accommodating expected structural movement. 

Torch On Membrane - Fidia 

Fidia polyester is used as a continuous waterproofing membrane for foundations, basements, tunnels, roofs etc. With reinforced rot-proof non-women polyester and stabilised with glass mat it is a torch applied membrane.

Torch On Membrane - Testudo

Testudo is another product used as a continuous waterproofing membrane for foundations, basements, tunnels, roofs etc. It too is reinforced with rot-proof non-woven single strand spunbond polyester fabric is a torch-applied membrane,  

Torch On Membrane - Defender H

Defend H is used as the top later where waterproofing is in contact with the ground such as gardens, underground garages and tunnels covered with soil, even road structures and roofs under gravel and where there is a risk of the system being attacked by roots.

Vandex

Parchem Vandex is cementitious waterproofing render and repair products and one of the major products used by Portolesi Structural. Vandex is used as a waterproofing and crack filling cement based render for waterproofing concrete and masonry structures or a concrete penetration crystal growth sealing cement based waterproofing system.

Xypex

Xypex waterproofing consists of high-quality products which are typically used for concrete waterproofing, concrete durability, and concrete repair and protection. The products seals the concrete permanently against the penetration of water and other liquids from any direction and a product commonly used by Portolesi Structural. 

 

Hydrophilic and Hydrophobic Dry Side Injection

Polyurethane (PU) injection methods are used for concrete crack repair or full retrospective waterproof membrane installation in elements including shotcrete and insitu walls and footings, precast items, beams and columns, retaining walls and slabs. Liquid polyurethane is injected into cracks through injection points and allowed to cure before the injection points are removed and the surface repaired where necessary.

Polyurethane foam injection is used as a sealant to prevent water leaking through cracks and offers wet side protection ensuring that reinforcing remains dry..

Both these concrete crack injection systems work in the smallest cracks and offer excellent monitoring possibilities to provide quality assurance to the client.

Tampur 150

Tampur 150 is used for its hydrophilic polymer resin type water stopping capabilities. It rapidly forms a highly resilient flexible seal allowing movement to the crack, fracture of joint.

Tampur 130

Tamper 130 is used for sealing cracks in concrete, masonry and brickwork as well as sealing against water ingress through cracks and joints and to void filling and back grouting.
